Service Areas.
(Dutchess, Westchester, Rockland, Hudson Valley, NYC, etc.)
United We Build proudly serves a wide region in New York (and parts of Connecticut), and our Service Areas page provides details on the locales we cover. We have deep roots in the Hudson Valley and have completed projects in communities throughout Dutchess County, Westchester County, Rockland County, and the broader Hudson Valley, as well as in New York City and surrounding areas. On this page, you’ll find a list of specific cities, towns, and neighborhoods where we frequently operate – from Poughkeepsie, Beacon, and Pawling in Dutchess; to White Plains, Yonkers, and Scarsdale in Westchester; to New City and Nyack in Rockland; plus Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and beyond in the NYC metro area. We also mention Litchfield and Fairfield counties in CT for certain services, as we have a presence in Western Connecticut.
For each major area, we provide a short blurb highlighting our experience or notable projects there. For example:
Dutchess County
Our home base. We discuss how we’ve transformed historic farmhouses in Rhinebeck, performed modern remodels in Fishkill, and undertaken new home construction in growing communities like Wappingers Falls. We know the permit processes and local suppliers well in this area, which helps streamline projects.
Hudson Valley (General)
The term “Hudson Valley” covers a broader region (including Orange, Ulster, maybe Putnam, etc.). We express our love for working in this scenic region and how we appreciate the mix of historic and new construction – whether it’s restoring a colonial-era home or building a modern addition with river views. Sustainability is often a focus in the Hudson Valley, so we touch on our use of green building practices for eco-conscious clients.

Westchester County
We note our familiarity with Westchester’s building regulations and architectural styles, whether it’s renovating a classic Tudor in
Scarsdale or adding an in-law suite to a home in Mount Kisco. We might mention a high-profile project like a large renovation we did in White Plains as an example.

New York City
Working in the five boroughs can be very different from upstate – we highlight our capability to manage city projects, like brownstone renovations in Brooklyn or condo remodels in Manhattan high-rises. We’re familiar with NYC Building Department codes, work permit requirements, and logistical challenges (such as limited parking or needing after-hours work approvals). Our experience in the city means we know how to coordinate deliveries, debris removal, and maintain good relationships with building co-op/condo boards or supers.
Rockland County
We emphasize our roof and deck repairs for homes overlooking the Hudson in towns like Orangetown or Clarkstown, and mention how we handle the hilly terrain and unique environmental considerations of the area (like homes nestled in wooded lots requiring careful site protection).

Connecticut Service
(if applicable)
If we include CT, we’ll mention our services extending to nearby Connecticut towns (Danbury, Ridgefield, Greenwich, etc.), bringing the same quality and expertise across state lines, and ensuring we adhere to Connecticut’s codes and licensing as well.

By outlining our service areas, we want prospective clients to know that we are local enough to understand the unique characteristics and regulations of their community, yet large enough to cover a broad geography. We often receive referrals that lead us a bit further out, so even if your town isn’t explicitly listed, reach out – if it’s in the general region, chances are we can accommodate you. Each area on the page reinforces our commitment to being a reliable, community-focused contractor. No matter where you are in our service map, United We Build is united in delivering construction excellence to your neighborhood.
